The Crane County Courthouse is located in Crane, Texas.  The County is sparsely populated, with less than 5,000 inhabitants as of the 2020 census.  The county is oil rich, and has a history as a rough and tumble place with a red light district, but today it is quiet and clean. It produced its one-billionth barrel of oil in 1972.

This courthouse very much reminded me of an elementary or middle school. The cheesy metal art crane at the door is a unique touch with a much more causal feel than the artwork, sculpture and monuments at other courthouses.  The courthouse is situated fronting a quiet highway, and you can park right at the front door.
