State Law Library Maintains HOA Research Page

Did you know that the State of Texas hosts an online guide to homeowners’  association/ property owners’  association law to assist pro se litigants and others?

The Texas State Law Library reference librarians have done an excellent job of compiling legal research guides for specific areas of the law, including Property Owners’ Associations. The objective of the online legal research guide is to provide information on homeowners associations in Texas.  The page includes links to relevant statutes, practice aids, and information about HOA-related laws in “plain English.”

The site also contains links to books and other “practice aide” resources related to homeowners associations, as well as information about how to contact the HOA Hotline hosted by the Greater Houston Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
