On April 6, 2020, Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff entered a revised Emergency Order in response to the COVID-19 Disaster Declaration. This Order (NW-o5) contains strict guidelines for all persons entering the Bexar County Courthouse.

Among other provisions, the Order provides the following:

  • access to the Bexar Justice Center Complex will be limited to two entry points – one at the Paul Elizondo tower on Nueva Street, and the other at the Bexar Heritage Center (at the Bexar County Courthouse);
  • all persons entering the complex will be screed by being “asked certain risk-related questions;” and
  • all persons shall have their temperature taken “by least obtrusive means.”

Note that anyone whose temperature exceeds 100 degrees or who fails the screening process will not be allowed to enter the building.

Below is a short video providing my “take” on the Order.
